Description:
3-[2-[4-(2,4-Difluorophenyl)Piperazin-1-Yl]Ethylsulfanyl]-[1,2,4]Triazolo[4,5-a]Pyridine is a reconstituted fatty acid ester. It has been used as an enhancer and diluent in alginic acid formulations for the treatment of cellulite. 3-[2-[4-(2,4-Difluorophenyl)Piperazin-1-Yl]Ethylsulfanyl]-[1,2,4]Triazolo[4,5-a]Pyridine enhances the delivery of fatty acids to the skin by forming conjugates with fatty acids and polymeric matrices. The drug also shows a significant increase in microdialysis probes in muscle cells and was found to have no toxicological effects on Sprague Dawley rats.
