The amino groups in this molecule bind to the channel and block it, thereby inhibiting calcium flow into the cell. 2,6-Difluoro-N-[1-[[2-fluoro-6-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]methyl]-1H-pyrazol-3-yl]benzamide blocks cytokines that are released by human immune cells, which may be responsible for its antiinflammatory effects.
