Product Information

Name:
4-[4-(Dimethylamino)phenyl]-1,2,4-triazolidine-3,5-dione
Description:

4-[4-(Dimethylamino)phenyl]-1,2,4-triazolidine-3,5-dione (DMT) is a chiral and structural analog of the commonly used reagent dithiothreitol (DTT). This compound has been used to determine the reaction time of a variety of reactions. The chlorides in DMT react with fluorescamine to produce a fluorescent compound that can be detected by fluorimetry. The nature and solvents of the reaction are determined by the diacid and chloride in DMT. 4-[4-(Dimethylamino)phenyl]-1,2,4-triazolidine-3,5-dione (DMT) can be used to optimize the parameters for vapor pressure techniques such as GC or HPLC. The halide in DMT has been shown to have an effect on its reactivity. 4-[4-(Dimethylamino)phenyl]-1
