The reaction product is a monoclonal antibody that has been shown to react with an amino acid sequence. Fmoc-Asp(OtBu)-OPfp can be used to detect glycopeptides, complex oligosaccharides, and residues of l-amino acids. It can also be used as an antigen or an anti-idiotype to measure the conformation of l-amino acids.
