Description

Fmoc-Lys(Me)3-OH chloride is a synthetic compound that has been used as a chiral reagent for the synthesis of aspartic acid. It is used in the treatment of colitis, surgically induced as well as pathological. Fmoc-Lys(Me)3-OH chloride has also been shown to have anti-dyskinetic effects and may be useful in the treatment of cardiac dysrhythmias. This compound was found to be toxic to the eye at high concentrations and can cause myosis. Fmoc-Lys(Me)3-OH chloride is an aromatic compound with a phenyl group and two methyl groups. It is not soluble in water but can be dissolved in halogenated hydrocarbons such as dichloromethane or chloroform.END>
