Description

Fmoc-N'-acetyl-L-lysine is a synthetic amino acid that is used in the synthesis of peptides and proteins. Fmoc-N'-acetyl-L-lysine inhibits the growth of prostate cancer cells by binding to the fatty acid on the cell surface, preventing it from interacting with an effector protein. Fmoc-N'-acetyl-L-lysine has cytostatic effects on prostate cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit uptake of essential nutrients such as glucose and glutamine. Fmoc-N'-acetyl-L-lysine also inhibits the production of human serum albumin and other structural proteins. Low potency for this product is due to its high degree of reactivity with water, which makes it unsuitable for use in biological assays or as a pharmaceutical agent.
