GAP 26 is a fluorescent dye that can be used to measure the myoendothelial gap in muscle tissue. The functional studies of GAP 26 have been performed using a muscle actuator and fabricating fluorescence measurement. GAP 26 has been shown to be effective for the treatment of myoendothelial disorders by hyperpolarizing the cell membrane, resulting in increased muscle contraction.
