Product Information
- 3-heptyl-1H-pyrrole
3-Heptylpyrrole is a synthesized ligand that reacts with copper to form a copper complex. It is soluble in organic solvents, but insoluble in water. 3-Heptylpyrrole has been shown to be an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of conjugated acid and luminance. When irradiated by light with wavelength between 400 nm and 800 nm, it produces oxopurine. This compound can be used as a detector for supercritical fluids, which are gases such as carbon dioxide or nitrogen that have been pressurized and heated to the point where they become liquid like. 3-Heptylpyrrole is also used as a ligand to bind anions, such as hydroxy groups, particle surfaces, and other organic solvents. This compound has been shown to be useful for organic semiconductor devices that use palladium complexes or copper diode arrays.
