H-Leu-Ser-p-nitro-Phe-Nle-Ala-Leu-OMe trifluoroacetate salt is a nonapeptide with a profile of amino acids that includes phenolic and hydrophobic residues. It has been shown to be resistant to the enzyme plasmin and proteolytic activity, which may be due to its coagulation properties. This compound also interacts with a number of proteins, including albumin, fibrinogen, and haemoglobin. Dichroism analysis has been used to study the interaction between H-Leu-Ser-p-nitro-Phe-Nle-Ala-Leu OMe trifluoroacetate salt and C2H5OH micelles. The results show that this compound is not soluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as acetone or ethanol.
