Description

Z-Leu-Ala-OH is a casein extract that has been processed by ultrafiltration to remove impurities. It is used in the diagnosis of dermatophyte infections and other diseases. Z-Leu-Ala-OH has been shown to inhibit the growth of Trichophyton mentagrophytes, an organism that causes skin infections, as well as the growth of some bacteria and fungi. In addition, this extract can be used to diagnose collagen diseases such as pancreatic disease and fibrinogen disorders.
