1-(5-Methylpyridin-2-yl)piperazine is a piperazine derivative that binds to the D2 and D4 receptors. It has affinity for the D2 receptor and can be used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. 1-(5-Methylpyridin-2-yl)piperazine also interacts with serotonin receptors 5HT1A and 5HT1B.
