6-22 amide trifluoroacetate salt H-Thr-Tyr-Ala-Asp-Phe-Ile-Ala-Ser-Gly-Arg-Thr-Gly-Arg-Arg-Asn-Ala Ile NH2 trifluoro acetate salt is a protein inhibitor. It binds to the catalytic subunit of PKA and blocks the phosphorylation of its substrate, thereby inhibiting the action of PKA. This results in an increase in insulin sensitivity and a decrease in blood glucose levels. 622 inhibits adenosine receptors, which is thought to contribute to its potent inhibition of PKA activity.
