Description

4-Phenylcyclohexanone oxime is a reagent that is used in organic synthesis. It is a hydroxamic acid derivative that inhibits the catalytic activity of metalloproteinases, such as matrix metalloproteinase and cathepsin B. 4-Phenylcyclohexanone oxime has been shown to inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species, which are toxic to cells.
