Description

(R)-N-(Prop-2-yn-1-yl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-amine is a type of inhibitor drug that blocks the enzyme monoamine oxidase. It has been shown to have neuroprotective effects in experimental models of Parkinson's disease and to improve locomotor activity. (R)-N-(Prop-2-yn-1-yl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-amine appears to be an effective pharmacological treatment for Parkinson's disease by reducing the death of neurons and increasing their growth.
