It has been shown to have a linear response with cellular protein levels, and it has been shown to be involved in the genetic mechanisms of cells. 1-Palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-rac-glycerol has been found to have a number of protein targets, including phosphatidylinositide 3 kinase, PKC, and Akt.
