Description:
Stearanilide is a synthetic organic solvent that is soluble in water and polar organic solvents. It has a high boiling point, low viscosity, and high flash point. Stearanilide can be used as an additive to improve the stability of metal ion-containing gels. It can also be used for the hydration of fatty acid-containing polymers to form microcapsules. The main applications of stearanilide are in the stabilization of light-sensitive materials and as an ingredient in cosmetics. Stearanilide is colourless and has low toxicity.
