3-(Trifluoromethoxy)benzyl bromide is a thermal stable, equimolar fluorine-containing compound with a heat resistant, resistant structure. It has been shown to be thermally stable in the range of −50 to 150 °C and is resistant to chloride, temperatures, and thermostability. 3-(Trifluoromethoxy)benzyl bromide has been shown to be an efficient polymerization agent that can be used in the synthesis of polymers with nmr spectra and phenolic moieties.
