Description

Triclabendazolesulfoxide is a benzimidazole compound that binds to the ATP-binding cassette transporter, which is a protein in the liver that transports various drugs and other molecules. It is used to treat infections caused by roundworms, hookworms, and pinworms. Triclabendazolesulfoxide has been shown to have pharmacokinetic properties similar to triclabendazole, but with decreased protein binding. Triclabendazolesulfoxide has been shown to be an effective anthelmintic drug against roundworm infections in mice.
