Description:
The Boc-arg(boc)2-OH is a tetrapeptide that is produced by the enzymatic hydrolysis of Boc-Arg(Boc)-OH. The hydrolysis of Boc-Arg(Boc)-OH occurs in vivo and in vitro through the action of amidases, which are enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of amide bonds with water. It has been found to have cytotoxic activity against various tumor cells in vitro, but not against normal cells. This product has been shown to have high cytotoxicity against intracorneal melanoma cells in vivo.
