Description:

Triethylsulfonium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide (TEOS-TFSI) is a chemical reagent that has many useful properties. It is a colorless liquid that can be used as an acceptor in organic chemistry, and it has a viscosity of 1.5 centipoise at 20 °C. TEOS-TFSI reacts with carbon tetrachloride to produce the compound covid-19, which is used for the treatment of influenza A pandemic. TEOS-TFSI also inhibits hydrogen bonding, which may be due to its ability to form strong hydrogen bonds with other compounds. The activation energy for this reaction is 33 kcal/mol. TEOS-TFSI also reacts with lithium metal to produce lithium fluoride and hydrogen gas.
