Description:

3,4,5-Tribromotoluene is a halogenated toluene with three bromine atoms. It can be used for the synthesis of indole derivatives using a variety of reactions, including intermolecular cycloaddition and trikentrins. 3,4,5-Tribromotoluene has been shown to undergo efficient and regioselective cross-coupling reactions with indoles to produce butenylindoles.
