Product Information
Aluminium potassium sulfate is an inorganic compound that contains aluminum and potassium. It is a white powder that has the potential to form harmful vapors when heated, so it should not be used near a flame or other heat source. This compound can be added to water as a coagulant and will produce hydrogen fluoride gas if mixed with hydrogen fluoride. Aluminium potassium sulfate can also be used to remove benzalkonium chloride from wastewater by reacting with it to form aluminum sulfate, which precipitates out. This product is toxic, but not as toxic as aluminium sulfate and potassium sulfate, which are made up of the same compounds without the aluminium component.
