Palladium sulfide is a compound that contains palladium in the +2 oxidation state. Palladium sulfide has been found to catalyze the reduction of sodium sulfide to sodium sulfate. Palladium sulfide also has optical properties and can be used as a catalyst for electrochemical processes.
