5-Aminoallyl 2'-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate sodium salt is a novel anticancer nucleoside that is modified with an amino group at the 2' position. This modification increases the stability of 5-Aminoallyl 2'-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate sodium salt and enhances its ability to inhibit DNA synthesis. In addition, this nucleoside has been shown to be a potent antiviral agent against herpes simplex virus type 1 and HIV-1 by inhibiting viral DNA polymerase.
5-Aminoallyl 2'-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate sodium salt can be used in the preparation of antigens for immunotherapy and vaccine development, as well as in diagnostic applications such as in the diagnosis of cancer by detecting tumor cells.
