Description:2'-Deoxy-N2-isobutyryl-3',5'-O-(1,1,3,3-tetraisopropyl-1,3-disiloxanediyl)guanosine (TIG) is a nucleoside and ribonucleoside analog that has antiviral activity. It is synthesized from 2'-deoxyguanosine by the introduction of an isobutyryl moiety at the C2 position and a 1,1,3,3-tetraisopropyl group at the 3' hydroxyl position. TIG is an activator of DNA polymerase β with high quality and high purity and can be used for the synthesis of oligodeoxynucleotide phosphoramidites. TIG can be used to synthesize DNA or RNA molecules with deoxyribonucleosides or modified nucleotides.
