1-(2'-O-4-C-Methylene-b-D-ribofuranosyl)thymine is a monophosphate that inhibits the synthesis of DNA. It has antiviral and anticancer properties, as well as a high purity level. 1-(2'-O-4-C-Methylene-b-D-ribofuranosyl)thymine is synthesized by modified phosphoramidite chemistry and can be used in the production of oligonucleotides. It has been shown to have antitumour activity in animal models.
