Product Information
(2-Chloro-6-methyl-3-pyridinyl)(2-ethyl-1-piperidinyl)methanone is a pyrazole derivative that has shown to have significant receptor activity. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in cell culture and in animal models. This compound has been shown to bind to the cytochrome P450 enzyme, which is involved in the metabolism of xenobiotics, as well as recombinant cytochrome P450. The binding affinity for this molecule was determined by molecular docking analysis and coordination geometry, and it was found to be an amide with a thermal expansion coefficient similar to that of water. The biological properties of (2-chloro-6-methyl-3-pyridinyl)(2-ethyl-1-piperidinyl)methanone have been studied extensively, including its phase transition temperature, which is approximately -10°C.
