2,3,6-Trimethyl-gamma-cyclodextrin is a modified cyclodextrin that is used in the synthesis of oligosaccharides and polysaccharides. It has been shown to be an effective methylating agent for the preparation of complex carbohydrates such as monosaccharides and polysaccharides. 2,3,6-Trimethyl-gamma-cyclodextrin is also a fluorinating agent for the modification of saccharide and carbohydrate molecules. This product has a purity level of >98% and can be used in click chemistry reactions due to its reactive oxygen species (ROS) moiety.
