Product Information
Berbamine is a small-molecule drug that induces autophagy. Autophagy is a process of cellular degradation, recycling, and renewal that removes damaged cellular components. Berbamine has been shown to increase the intracellular calcium concentration, which in turn activates the actin filament system and leads to apoptosis. Berbamine has also been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in animals and human cell lines. This drug can be used as a therapeutic agent for cancers and other infectious diseases such as malaria. Berbamine is able to inhibit the growth of bacteria by inhibiting glycosylases; it also inhibits DNA replication and RNA synthesis in viruses.
Berbamine (E6) is an autophagy inducer that belongs to the class of small-molecule drugs. The mechanism of action of this drug is not completely understood, but it has been shown to activate the actin filament system and induce apoptosis in cancer cells by increasing intr
