Product Information
- p-Nitrophenyl glycine ester
- Glycine, 4-nitrophenyl ester
4-Nitrophenyl 2-aminoacetate is an amino acid that was obtained from polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The chemical nature of the compound is a carbonyl and an amino acid. It has been shown to be catalytic in the formation of dodecyl 4-nitrophenyl 2-aminoacetate. The kinetics of this reaction have been studied using a catalysed optimization technique. The results show that there is no interaction between the two reactants, but they are independent and constant in nature. Kinetic studies have shown that the catalytic mechanism for this reaction is as follows:
Reactant 1 + Reactant 2 → Product
4-Nitrophenol + Amino Acids → Dodecyl 4-Nitrophenyl Ester
