Kaempferol-7-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside is a natural compound that has inhibitory properties. It has been used as an inhibitor of drug reactions, and is one of the most important flavonoid compounds in the human diet. Kaempferol-7-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against a number of bacterial species, including Helicobacter pylori, Salmonella typhimurium, Escherichia coli, and Staphylococcus aureus. This compound also has antiinflammatory properties and may be useful in treating infectious diseases such as tuberculosis. Kaempferol-7-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside can be used as an analytical reagent for sephadex g 100 and sesquiterpene lactones by phase transition temperature and polymerase chain reaction methods.
