Description:N-[4-(Aminosulfonyl)phenyl]-2-[3-cyano-4-(2-methylpropoxy)phenyl]-4-methyl-5-thiazolecarboxamide is a potent, high purity, and selective activator of the transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 1 (TRPV1) ion channel. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of TRPV1 channels in rat dorsal root ganglion neurons, thereby blocking pain signals. N-[4-(Aminosulfonyl)phenyl]-2-[3-cyano-4-(2-methylpropoxy)phenyl]-4-methyl-5-thiazolecarboxamide has also been shown to be an effective inhibitor of TRPA1 channels and a blocker of histamine H(3) receptors. This product is not expected to cause any immunological reactions in humans or animals.
