Description:1,2,3,4,7,8-Hexachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin is a polychlorinated dibenzodioxin (PCDD) congener. At the highest dose (10,000 μg/kg), it can cause hepatic pallor (fatty liver), gastrointestinal bleeding, and early mortality in H/W and A strain rats. Additionally, 1,2,3,4,7,8-Hexachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin induces liver sinusoidal dilatation and can lead to severe purpura in B strain rats.
