Applications 2,6-Bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-ethylidene-2,5-cyclohexadien-1-one is a useful reagent for stereoselective catalytic 1,6-conjugate addition reaction of quinone methides with carbon-nucleophiles. It can also be utilized in Fe-catalyzed hydroalkylation of olefins with para-quinone methides.
