Applications Boc-D-4,4'-biphenylalanine is used as a reagent in the synthesis of pyrrolopyrimidine inhibitors of Akt as antitumor agents. Boc-D-4,4'-biphenylalanine is also used in the preparation of (-)-Bestatin-based inhibitors.
