
Derivados de Benzimidazol e Imidazol
O benzimidazol é um composto constituído por um anel benzênico fundido a um anel imidazólico, uma estrutura de cinco membros contendo dois átomos de nitrogénio. Os derivados de benzimidazol, como o albendazol, são conhecidos pela sua atividade antiparasitária e antifúngica, sendo utilizados no tratamento de infeções parasitárias e de algumas doenças parasitárias em animais e humanos.
