Descrição:Pp1A is an active form of a human protein that belongs to the class of peptide hormones. Pp1A has been shown to be involved in the regulation of axonal growth and brain functions, as well as being a potential drug target for diseases such as carcinoid syndrome and congestive heart failure. Pp1A may play a role in the regulation of serum prolactin levels, which is important for neural development and endocrine function. The kinetic energy of Pp1A has also been shown to be greater than that of other proteins, due to its higher structural stability. Pp1A has a molecular weight of 5,879 Da and contains 473 amino acids. It is found in both pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC) and pro-enkephalin (PE) cells in the anterior pituitary gland.
