• Descrição: The RGD motif has been found in wide range of eukaryotic proteins allowing cell adhesion to the ECM. The tripeptide RGD is the primary domain to bind integrin found in extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins including fibronectin, fibrinogen and osteopontin. It has been shown to effectively adhere various cell types to a wide range of biomaterials. This is a key research tool in the flourishing area of tissue engineering and wound healing using synthetic peptides that are either inert or can be potentially beneficial. RGD is a suitable ligand for targeting nanomolecules and cancer drugs to specific tissues due to its biocompatibility and safety.This RGD peptide is supplied with an Aurora Fluor 647 fluorophore attached and produced to research grade quality. Aurora Fluor 647 excitation suited to 594nm and emission peaked at 671nm.
