Benzyldimethylphenylammonium Chloride is a non-polymeric, hydrogen-bonding agent. It is able to form hydrogen bonds with the hydroxybenzoic acid moieties of leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRAs). This chemical also has an affinity for chloride ions. Benzyldimethylphenylammonium Chloride is used as a control agent in polymer films, which are solid films that contain a hydroxyl group and a divalent hydrocarbon such as sodium carbonate or mivacurium chloride.
