Aluminum dihydrogen phosphate (AlH3P2O8) is a compound that is used as a catalyst in the production of polyurethane. Aluminum dihydrogen phosphate has been shown to be chemically stable and resistant to hydrochloric acid, water vapor, and methyl ethyl. It has also been shown to have high thermal stability. Aluminum dihydrogen phosphate is manufactured by reacting aluminum with phosphoric acid at elevated temperatures. The reaction mechanism for this process is relatively simple, but the exact details are not well understood. The properties of aluminum dihydrogen phosphate make it an appropriate choice for use in reactions involving zirconium oxide, which is an important industrial chemical element due to its thermal expansion properties.
