Informação sobre produto
- 2-Thiazolamine, 4-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-
4-(4-Ethoxyphenyl)-1,3-thiazol-2-amine (ETAT) is a nitrosamine that is reactive with chlorine. It can be synthesized in the laboratory by reacting biphenyl and nitrous acid. ETAT has been shown to cause cancer in animals, including rats, mice, and hamsters. Studies have also shown that ETAT causes cardiovascular disease in animals. This drug has been shown to react with hydroxyl groups of DNA or RNA to form adducts that inhibit nucleic acid synthesis. The Wolff-Kishner reduction reaction is used to produce an acylation product from an aromatic compound and a carboxylic acid chloride using an alkaline solution of copper sulfate and ammonia as catalyst. The Friedel-Crafts acylation reaction is used to convert an aromatic compound into another aromatic compound by using a carboxylic acid as the acylating agent and a metal catalyst such as
