(3R,4R)-3,4-Dihydroxycyclohexa-1,5-diene-1-carboxylic acid is a monocarboxylic acid that is the conjugate acid of 3,4-dihydroxycyclohexa-1,5-diene. It can be produced by enzymic oxidation of chorismic acid or by hydrolysis and decarboxylation. This compound has been shown to inhibit the growth of Eschirichia coli in vitro by inhibiting cell division. The substituents on this molecule have not been reported in the literature.
