Boswellic acid is a pentacyclic triterpene isolated from the gum resin of the olibanum tree, which is found in India and Pakistan. Boswellic acid is one of the most important phytochemicals found in Indian Ayurvedic medicine and it has potent anti-inflammatory and antileukemic activity.
