Dimethylamin ist eine farblose, brennbare Flüssigkeit mit einem starken fischigen Geruch, die als tertiäre Amin klassifiziert ist. Seine chemische Formel ist C2H7N und es weist zwei Methylgruppen auf, die an ein Stickstoffatom gebunden sind.
