It has been shown to inhibit the Kv1.3 channel in both recombinant and native preparations, as well as in cells from various tissues. CMI977 has been shown to inhibit proliferation of cancer cells and to induce apoptosis in cell culture. This protein interacts with peptides and antibodies, as well as with other proteins such as ion channels and receptors, which may be used for research purposes.
