Beschreibung: (+)-Carvon ist eine natürlich vorkommende monoterpenoide Ketone mit der chemischen Formel C10H14O. Diese Verbindung existiert in zwei enantiomeren Formen, wobei (+)-Carvon die Form ist, die typischerweise im Spearmintöl vorkommt, während ihr Gegenstück, (−)-Carvon, in Kümmelsamen zu finden ist.
