Tributyrin, auch bekannt als Tributyrat oder Glyceroltributyrat, ist ein Triester, der aus Glycerin und Buttersäure gebildet wird. Es ist bei Raumtemperatur eine farblose bis blassgelbe Flüssigkeit und hat einen charakteristischen buttrigen Geruch.
