Kupfersulfat, mit der CAS-Nummer 7758-98-7, ist eine anorganische Verbindung, die als blauer Kristallfeststoff erscheint und allgemein für ihre lebendige Farbe bekannt ist. Sie besteht aus Kupfer, Schwefel und Sauerstoff, mit der chemischen Formel CuSO₄. Diese Verbindung ist hochgradig wasserlöslich und bildet eine blaue Lösung und ist hygroskopisch, was bedeutet, dass sie Feuchtigkeit aus der Luft aufnehmen kann. Kupfersulfat wird in verschiedenen Anwendungen weit verbreitet eingesetzt, einschließlich Landwirtschaft als Fungizid und Herbizid, in der Herstellung von Pigmenten und in chemischen Prozessen.
