Cefpodoximproxetil ist ein Breitband-Cephalosporin-Antibiotikum, das hauptsächlich zur Behandlung von bakteriellen Infektionen eingesetzt wird. Es ist ein Prodrug, was bedeutet, dass es nach der Verabreichung in seine aktive Form, Cefpodoxim, umgewandelt wird.
