Beschreibung

N-Cbz-L-glutamic acid is a biodegradable polymer that is synthesized from L-glutamic acid. This molecule is able to form stable polymers that are soluble in water. The nitrogen atoms in this molecule are able to form trifluoroacetic acid, which inhibits the enzyme lipase. N-Cbz-L-glutamic acid can also be used as a template molecule for the synthesis of monomers and polymers with various functional groups.
